FAQs

  1. Are your prices listed in Canadian dollars?

Yes, every rate you see is in Canadian dollars (CAD) and is quoted before applicable GST/HST.

  2. Can I cancel or pause a monthly service?

You can cancel any monthly service at any time with 30 days’ notice. Pausing isn’t offered, because the underlying resources stay allocated exclusively to you and can’t be reassigned while idle.

  3. Will you register and manage my domain and SSL certificate for me?

Absolutely. We can handle domain registration, DNS management, and SSL setup as part of your onboarding. That said, we recommend registering the domain in your own name so you retain full ownership; we’ll still manage technical configuration if you prefer.

  4. Is the $995 web-design fee a deposit or the full cost?

$995 is the full price (before tax) for our basic WordPress site package. More advanced builds, such as ecommerce or custom integrations, are quoted separately. We take a 50% deposit to start the project, with the remaining 50% due on approval just before launch.

  5. How long does it take to build the basic WordPress site?

We aim for a four-week turnaround from deposit to launch, provided feedback is supplied within two business days at each revision stage. More complex sites (ecommerce, multilingual, custom integrations) may take six to eight weeks.

  6. What happens after the site goes live, do you maintain it?

Yes. Our WordPress Hosting plan covers core, theme, and plug-in updates, daily off-site backups, uptime monitoring, and security hardening. You’re free to self-host, but you’ll be responsible for maintenance and updates if you do.

  7. Who owns the website and its content?

You do. Upon final payment we transfer full ownership of all design files, code, and copy created for your project. We retain a non-exclusive right to showcase the work in our portfolio.

  8. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, Interac E-transfer, and EFT. All invoices are issued in CAD and must be settled within 15 days.

  9. Is there any satisfaction guarantee or refund policy?

If you’re not satisfied with design progress after the first revision round, you may cancel and receive a refund of 50% of your deposit. After that point, work already completed is non-refundable.

  10. What happens if I request changes outside the agreed scope?

Your package includes the revision rounds listed in your proposal. Additional features or edits beyond that scope are no problem, they’re simply billed at $150 per hour, with a clear estimate sent to you for approval before we begin the extra work.

  11. How are payments handled?

We invoice a 50% deposit to secure your project in our schedule. The remaining 50% is due on launch, after you’ve approved the final site. For recurring services, auto-billing is processed on the anniversary date of when your plan began (monthly or yearly), so charges always align with your original start date.

  12. Are there any long-term contracts?

No. Monthly services are month-to-month. For annual plans, the commitment is for the 12-month period you’ve prepaid; you can choose not to renew at the end of the term.

Running a small business is hard enough, your website shouldn’t add to the stress.
