One common perception I’d like to weigh in on is: Adding content daily does NOT improve your blog’s rankings. I remember often being advised to publish lots of content every day, to improve rankings, but in may respects it seems a misunderstood idea.

A key point… SEJ (Search Engine Journal) recently posted “Google Answers If Adding Content Daily Increases Rankings” with the following answer:

“…No. Posting daily or at any specific frequency for that matter doesn’t help with ranking better in Google search results…”

They go on to clarify, that having more content within Google’s index, will obviously result in more content appearing in SERPs (search engine results pages)
